Arjohn Gilbert, the young Aeta boy whose recent videos showcasing his professional singing voice went viral over YouTube, has been invited to perform by no less than two of the most popular Filipino world-class singers.
Filipino-American Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.ap said he’s glad that Arjohn is gaining recognition for his innate singing talent. He also said he’ll be happy to perform with Arjohn and to help him in his singing career.
International singing sensation Charice for her part also extended an invitation to Arjohn to perform with her in a future show. She even asked her fans, better known as Chasters, to find Arjohn to let him know that he will be part of her next show in the Philippines Dubbed as “The Next Apl.de.ap,” and “Justin Bieber of the Philippines,” Arjohn originally hails from Pampanga where he’s making a living selling fruits, crops and flutes.
He was discovered by Apl who included him in one of his music videos where Arjohn portrayed the young Apl.
