Three Filipino models, namely Jennica Sanchez, Maureen Wroblewitz and Anjelica Santillan, are among the 14 contestants competing for “Asia’s Next Top Model” (AsNTM).
Jennica is a blogger-model who will be using her charm as an alluring young woman and hope that it will electrify her photographs. Maureen who grew up in Saudi Arabia and Germany said she joined the competition to challenge herself and get out of her comfort zone. Anjelica, who also loves wakeboarding and other extreme sports, plans to buy or build a new home for her family if she won the AsNTM. The competition is based on the American franchise “America’s Next Top Model” created by supermodel Tyra Banks. In the first three cycles of the competition, Filipino models Stephanie Retuya, Jodilly Pendre and Monika Sta. Maria were named runners-up.
