Ilocos Sur experienced a magnitude-3.3 earthquake Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
According to Phivolcs researcher Porferio de Peralta, the earthquake occurred at 9:00 a.m. and had a depth of 30 kilometers.
The quake’s epicenter was traced to 22 kilometers northwest of Vigan.
Intensity III was felt in Vigan City, he added.
However, no aftershocks or damage were expected, Phivolcs said.
