We have proven once again that nothing is more fun and excitingly enjoyable than golfing in the Philippines away from the winter snow.
Edgar Gonzalez, the organizer and coordinator of Golf Jamboree scheduled eight golf courses for the participating golfers from Winnipeg, Florida, Calgary, Nevada, Seattle and Los Angeles. A total of 48 par busters competed at Eagle Ridge’s (Aoki and Faldo) in Gen. Trias, Cavite, Summit Golf & C.C. in Lipa City, Batangas, Splendido Taal in Tagaytay, East Ridge C.C. in Binangonan, Rizal, Forest Hills (J.Nicklaus) in Antipolo, Rizal, Ayala Greenfield & Estate in Calamba, Laguna and Sherwood Hills Country Club in Trece Martires, Cavite.
According to Edgar, who has been a loyal client of Century Park Hotel for the past 15 years, decided for a change of scenery and moved to a new place situated in the heart of Malate, Manila. The Pan Pacific Hotel Manila, managed by a handsome Frenchman by the name of Richard Massellin, who is also an avid golfer. Edgar would like to express his gratitude to Richard and the entire crew of Pan Pacific Hotel for their generosity and hospitality to all our golfers… Everyone felt like they were home away from home.
