For two consecutive Wednesdays, 204 Neighbourhood Watch volunteers patrolled at Tyndall. Patrollers inspected the places frequented by children – Stanley Knowles playground, Fairgrove Park, Prairie Rose Playground and Garden Grove School Playground. A few drugs baggies were recovered from playgrounds while a number of liquor bottles were collected from Garden Grove Drive. Residents that we met in the streets appreciated our patrolling efforts.
Bakerite at Keewatin was the assembly venue. It’s owners Manny and Emy Adao provided free hearty snacks for patrollers. Kind Tyndall residents Gerry and Imelda Pagulayan allowed the use of their house for washroom break.
