Valerie Weigmann condoles with Miss Honduras’ family

The Philippine representative to the upcoming Miss World pageant, Valerie Weigmann felt very sorry for the family of Miss Honduras and also for the whole Miss World Organization in general

The bodies of 19 year-old María José Alvarado who was set to represent Honduras in the beauty pageant to be held Dec. 14 in London, and her 23 year-old sister Sofía were reportedly found buried near a spa. The Honduras police said Sofia’s boyfriend confessed to killing them during a fit of severe jealousy.

Julia Morey, chairman of the Miss World Organization has released a statement on the matter. They will also hold a special service with all of the Miss World contestants on Sunday, and say prayers for María José and Sofía and their family.
