Edilberto Santos, Bernard Yumang and Eugenia Santoyo work together—and now they can celebrate together, thanks to their $1 million LOTTO 6/49 win! The coworkers won the $1 million guaranteed prize draw on November 9.
When Santos checked the group’s ticket on the WCLC mobile app, he was in disbelief.
“Holy smokes, one million? No way!’” was his reaction when he saw all the zeroes on the screen. “I didn’t believe it until I called Customer Care and they said, ‘Congratulations!’”
The coworkers have some ideas about what they’d like to do with their windfall.
“I’d like to save money for my kids and family,” Santos said. “I’d also like to take my family on a holiday—perhaps a cruise to Panama.” Yumang and Santoyo are considering using their winnings to visit the Philippines or vacation in the Caribbean.
Santos purchased the group’s winning ticket at Pop & Shop, located at 132-701 Regent Avenue West in Winnipeg. Their winning guaranteed prize number was 35051857-05.
