It is the special month of November once again for Angono Rizal Association of Winnipeg (ARAW) members as they hold their annual Novena in honour of their town’s patron, St. Clement. The nine days novena happened on November 14 to 22, 2013, 7:00 in the evening, at the humble home of Hermano Gabby & Nenita Dinoy. On the feast day of St. Clement, Nov. 23, Saturday, ARAW joined the community of St. Joseph’s Parish in their 5:00 pm mass at 355 Andrews St. This was followed by their annual fiesta celebration organized by the ARAW Officers, at the Parish Hall located at 515 College Avenue. The Annual Novena and Fiesta- second of the two annual activities (the other one is Annual Picnic during summer) of ARAW where Angono’s culture and traditions were showcased and celebrated to be witnessed and passed on to the next generation.
