The snow maze believed to be the largest in the world is now open to the public. Dubbed as “A Maze in Snow,” the unique creation is located on a farm in St. Adolphe, Manitoba, about 30 kilometres south of Winnipeg.
According to maze designer and co-owner Clint Masse, the work is their family’s winter offering to the public looking for a great way to spend an afternoon outdoors. The challenge is to navigate the maze from one end to the other and to search for the five small fires burning inside the labyrinth.
Masse added that their creation is larger than the 1,696-square-metre maze at Fort William Historical Park in Thunder Bay, Ont. which is officially listed by the Guinness World Records as the largest snow maze in existence. The official measurement for “A Maze
In Snow” will have to wait until early February.
