This edition of Musical Cities takes us to Central Europe, to the glittering Czech jewel, Prague and Hungary’s majestic Budapest. We’ll explore the music and culture of these great cities through recordings and vivid images, to make you feel like you’re really there.
Join Andrea Ratuski as she introduces music of Dvorak, Suk, Smetana, Janacek, Reicha, Liszt, Bartók, Kodály, and many more. We’ll also visit castles, concert halls, churches and coffeehouses to give you a real sense of these splendid cities.
