Kris Aquino is reportedly being considered to be the running mate in the presidential bid of Local Government Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas in 2016.
However the youngest sister of President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III said 2016 is not yet her time as she dismissed reports of her possible entry into the political arena in the next elections.
While she did not rule out the possibility of her entering into politics, Kris said it would not happen in 2016, adding that the issue has never been discussed and is just the work of people who want to sow intrigues.
The TV host and actress said she would rather wait for the right time before joining politics, say in 2019.
