Caption: Hobbies: Going to the gym; I have a guilty pleasure of watching reality TV shows; Going to concerts and art galleries and museums. Favourite Filipino Food: Palabok! Hometown/Province: Dagupan City, Pangasinan Describe the best Filipino childhood memory that makes you proud of who you are right now? Celebrating New Years in the Philippines is one of my favorite memories. I remember all the loud blasts of colour filling the night sky and smelling the smokey haze from the fire crackers linger in the air. Everyone in our neighbourhood coming together in a joyful celebration, putting away their differences and sharing the endless display of food on the table (that somehow kept replenishing through out the wee hours of the night). It makes me proud to be a part of a culture that values traditions, a community that is able to work together and help one another, and of course, knows how to throw an amazing party!
