The best Filipino childhood memory that makes me proud of who I am right now is joining a lot of school and Barangay events including singing competitions and workshops. This part of my childhood brings out the competitiveness and resourcefulness in me, characteristics that Filipinos are most known for. Because of those memories, I never forget to keep fighting and not give up on my dreams as I constantly “compete” with challenges in life. This is why I’m proud of who I am, and this is why I am proud to be Filipino.
