Caption: Filipinos represent! The Manitoba Filipino Street Festival, together with other community groups, joined and represented the Filipino community at the recently held annual Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade. The Filipino spirit of Christmas was definitely present with the showcasing of iconic Bahay Kubo and Parol (lanterns) and the joyful singing and dancing to Tagalog Christmas songs, not to mention the unity and volunteerism. It was indeed a night where most kababayans just felt happy and proud being Filipinos.Photo by Norman Padilla
