Daniel Padilla waxes nostalgic in MoA concert

DJ, as Daniel Padilla is called by his adoring fans, performed hits from another era in his concert “Most Wanted,” held at SM MoA Arena on Saturday night.

Padilla dished out standards such as “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” “How Sweet It Is (To be Loved by You)” to the screaming hordes of mostly young fans. He also sang “Moon River,” while “X Factor Philippines” champ KZ Tandingan crooned “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” with “The Voice of the Philippines” finalist Morissette Amon. With Kyla, Padilla belted out sang “Moondance.” Other guests include “Your Face Sounds Familiar” finalists Nyoy Volante and Edgar Allan Guzman and the Harana Boys composed of Marlo Mortell, Joseph Santos, Michael Pangilinan and Joseph Marco).

The highlight of the evening was DJ’s duet with screen partner Kathryn Bernardo, “So Real, So Good.” The concert was directed by Johnny Manahan with musical direction by Marvin Querido.
