Manny Pacquiao will be defending his WBO welterweight champion title against Jeff Horn on July 2.
The venue will be the Suncorp Stadium which has a seating capacity of over 50,000 and is located in Horn’s hometown in Brisbane. Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz said their camp is not worried despite fighting at the opponent’s turf as he expressed confidence that fans will be cheering for Pacquiao at the opening bell. Pacquiao earlier said it gives him extra motivation to put on a show in front of such a huge crowd. The Filipino boxing icon is looking to fight Amir Khan in the Middle East at the end of the year.
