Miss Maria Clara 2017 invites youth to help less fortunate in the Philippines

Miss Kristheel Marie Toral, Miss Maria Clara 2017, extends invitation for the young Filipino-Canadian to support the Kababaihang Rizalista Inc. on its worthy project in the Philippines after she was crowned by Philippine Consul General Rosalita S. Prospero, assisted by the 2016 Miss Maria Clara Asthley Suva.

Under the leadership of President Rose Cruz, the Kababaihang Rizalista, Inc. continuously helping the street children in Paranaque City.

The coronation of Toral girl as 2017 Miss Maria Clara was held on June 24, 2017 at the famous Rembrandt Banquet Hall, Progress and Markham, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She was escorted by his elder brother, Adolf Benedick Toral.

The new Miss Maria Clara of Kababihang Rizalista, Inc, is the daughter of Adolfo and Leticia, operations manager of a trucking company and a professional nurse respectively.

Kristheel Marie Toral is a nursing graduate of the University of Sta. Isabel in Naga City and will be pursuing her masters degree at York University.

She is the niece of news practisioner Jojo Taduran who is both a lifetime member of
the National Press Club of the Philippines and the St. Jamestown News Service.
