Filipino-American singer Kriesha Tiu has made it to the final round of a reality singing show in South Korea.
Tiu performed with fellow contestants Kim Sohee and Kim Hyerim as the group KWINs to emerged as one of the two grand finalists on the Korean audition TV show “K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance” during a live episode held over the weekend. KWINs beat the fan-favorite, British-Korean singer Shannon. KWINS will now advance to the grand finals and will compete against duo Boyfriend, composed of 11-year-olds Kim Jong-seob and Park Hyun-jin on April 9. The 19-year-old Tiu was originally eliminated in January after losing in a team battle but was given a second chance when judges used a wild card to bring her back.
