Hardwork will take us to Dublin, Ireland

by Lee Angela Igne – 1 st Degree Black Belt, Instructor and Coach for WSAA and Lynn Igne – Brown Belt Black Stripe, Jr. Instructor for WSAA

At the time of typing this article, it is exactly 7WEEKS 02DAYS 03HOURS 51MINUTES till our trip to the WKC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN DUBLIN, IRELAND! Nervous, excited, proud, worried, pumped, happy, and goal-driven…

We would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, encouragement, support, donations, and pledges, we are overwhelmed and overjoyed of your generosity, it feels amazing having our friends, family, and community help us out to bring us closer to our dream. #IrelandGoals !!!

We would like to share with an update of our generous supporters, donors and sponsors. Between the fundraising efforts and donations, we raised a little less than $5000. We have booked our flights and we have secured our registration fees for the World Championships; Lee Angela – Creative Weapon Forms, Traditional Hard Style Forms and Point sparring (3 events) and Lynlyn Igne – Creative Weapon Forms and Point Sparring. Each event is 75 Euros and for our coach to be able to enter the competition rings is 50 Euros which is approximately CAD$650!!!

We have booked our hotel but have not secured the money to pay for it yet. With prayers, we are hoping that we can make it with some online fundraising efforts from our dear friends. One is the Norwex Online Products sale courtesy of Susan Hrynyk who is now based in Vancouver, BC, 20% will go to our Ireland funds. Ms. Elaine Sauler-Tumbokon is also helping with a Tupperware Product Campaign Sale on Facebook, 40% will go to our Ireland funds and Frontrow Products for sale wherein 50% will go towards our trip. Our Facebook Fundraising Page is still open.

God will provide! We pray that there are yet generous hearts out there who would join us on our journey to this big endeavor.
