Hapi Balentayms!

Aside from Christmas and New Year, Valentine’s seems to be the most widely celebrated day in many parts of the world.

In simple words, Valentine’s Day is the occasion on which many people celebrate love and affection especially between couples and, by extension, friendship among close relations. However, what really started Valentine’s, one may ask.

I did a quick dig…

According to Wikipedia:
“Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14.

It originated as a Western Christian feast day that honored an early saint named Valentinus. Through the passing of time, Valentine’s Day has become widely recognized as not only a religious commemoration of the aforementioned saint but also a significant cultural and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love.”

Kaya Happy Valentine’s to all. May kapareha ka man o wala.
