February is “I Love To Read Month” and the students from Meadows West School have collected the following creative and inspiring reasons why reading is important. In schools and libraries all across Manitoba, the entire month of February is dedicated to promoting the love of reading.
Schools have adopted many ideas to promote reading including inviting local community celebrities, politicians and professional athletes to read to kids. You may have seen Winnipeg Jets players in recent years visiting and reading to kids during February.
