204 Neighbourhood Watch Patrolled Burrows and Daniel McIntyre

On November 15, despite the 6 inches deep snow, we patrolled to inspect the parks, playgrounds and school grounds at Burrows. Philip Cruz offered the Fil-Canadian Auto Repair Shop located at corner of Arlington and Burrows, for our use as assembly venue. Warm sopas, and delicious siopao and kababayan muffin donated by Bakerite Bakery (store located at 1030 Keewatin) were the perfect snacks after exposure to double digit windchill.

204 Neighbourhood Watch responded to a call from the Daniel McIntyre community. WPS patrol cars, Shannon and other residents of the area joined the 204 Neighbourhood Watch volunteers in patrolling the neighbourhood. MLA for Minto Andrew Swan came to participate in the Community Conversation. We aim to set-up a regular patrolling at said neighbourhood with the hope it will help curb the property crimes and safety issues the community is dealing with.

204 Neighbourhood Watch patrols every week and we need volunteers. Join 204 Neighbourhood Watch Facebook group to see our announcements and updates, or email me at Leilacastro.ca@gmail.com.
